Structural Changes to the IMG for Product Cost Planning
Scope of Functions
The IMG structure in Product Cost Planning has been changed as follows:

Basic Settings for Material Costing
- This section now contains Error Management.

Cost Estimate with Quantity Structure

This section contains the settings for the costing variant and its components, as well as for quantity structure control.

The sections Mixed Costing, Costing in Joint Production
and Develop Enhancements for Material Costing have been moved to Selected Functions.
- The section Define Order Type Determination has been deleted. This pre-costing activity is no longer required.

Cost Estimate Without Quantity Structure
- This section contains the settings for the costing variant and its components.

Selected Functions in Material Costing
- The name of this section has been changed from Special Processing to Selected Functions. The section contains all the settings for the material costing functions with or without quantity structure.

Reference and Simulation Costing
- This section contains the basic settings for Reference and Simulation Costing, including overhead, process costs, and under Error Management, the activity Define User-Defined Message Types.

Price Update
- The section Parameters for Standard Cost Estimates now includes the activity Define User-Defined Message Types.
