New Functions in Error Management

Scope of Functions

The following new error management functions are available:

• Changing the message type of user-defined messages directly from the error log

• Converting the log to the ABAP List Viewer. You can use the List Viewer to customize the list, such as by setting filters or by creating your own display variants.

• Inclusion of various standard display variants, including:

• Log for cost estimate (overall log)

• Log sorted by message type

• Log sorted by message number

• Error messages for a material

• Business add-in for user-defined messages, which you can use to make the type of error message dependent on various criteria (such as the material or costing variant)
