Submission of Employee Age Letter for Additional Tax Rebate

Scope of Functions

As of release 4.6A the following criteria are used to determine if an employee will receive an additional tax rebate:

The system determines an employee's age by their date of birth (as entered the infotype Personal Data 0002) or their technical date of birth (as entered in the infotype Date specifications 0041).

Before the start of the tax year in which the employee turns 65 years of age, the system checks whether the employee has submitted an age letter (stating when he or she turns 65).

This is determined by checking if the indicator in the 'Age Letter submitted' field on the infotype Taxes SA (0149) has been selected. Note: This letter can be submitted by the emplyoyee at any time.
