Improved Performance with Parallel Processing

Scope of Functions

You can improve runtimes by performing some functions with parallel processing. In parallel processing, the relevant objects are not processed one after the other on one server, but in parallel on one or more servers.

Parallel processing can now be used with the following additional functions:

• Creation of preliminary cost estimates for product cost collectors (Execute)

To activate parallel processing, enter a server group before executing the function. Parallel processing is available for preliminary costing of product cost collectors from Release 4.6A onwards.
