Regional Services Council (RSC) Levies

Use

As of release 4.6C, you can run the Regional Services Council Report - South Africa, which lists RSC levy contributions in detail.

RSC levies are calculated in the system based on an applicable rate of the total remuneration paid by an employer to their employees (with the rate and guidelines determined by the region).

Effects on Customizing

To customize system parameters, see in the IMG: Payroll South Africa -> South African Reports -> RegionalServices Council (RSC) Levies.

A new tab strip Levies has been created on infotype Taxes SA (0149) to store the RSC code relevant for an employee. This code can be defaulted in based on customising settings from the feature WRSCA (RSC Assignment). To overwrite the default entry, you can manually select a RSC code in the RSC Allocation field on infotype Taxes SA(0149).
