Forms Integration Using Screens

Use

The workflow system can generate forms for container elements that refer to structures.

You can use forms in start transactions with forms (start forms) and in the step type form. The forms are fully integrated in SAP Business Workflow.

There is a wizard that provides support in the definition of forms. A start form is always used for entering data. Apart from that, you have the choice when generating forms as to whether data is displayed, changed, approved or approved with query using the form generated. All forms generated can be processed afterwards manually in the Screen Painter.

The methods of the new object type DYNP_FORM are used to execute the forms.

Forms can be executed in SAP GUI for HTML. The method TO_XML is available in the object type DYNP_FORM, with which an XML document can be generated from the structure underlying the form. The method XML_DOC can then be used to generate a structure from this XML document. This XML document can be processed with the step type Web activity.
