Short text

Multiple-shift depreciation

Description

Up to now, both the depreciation and the expired useful life were increased for assets used in multiple shifts.
Now you can specify in the Customizing definition of the internal calculation key (under Edit), whether to

  • increase the depreciation and the expired useful life
  • only increase the depreciation, but not the expired useful life
  • increase neither the depreciation nor the expired useful life (only the fact that multiple-shift operation took place is registered)

This enables you, for example, to increase depreciation in the declining-balance depreciation phase, but to have the straight-line phase run until the end of the useful life.
