Planned asset retirement date (depreciation simulation)

Description

In Release 3.0, the planned asset retirement date (on the first screen of the asset master record) is interpreted by the standard report for the depreciation simulation/forecast. Using a corresponding indicator in the initial screen of the report, you can determine that depreciation values are only to be simulated until the planned asset retirement date of the respective fixed assets. For retirements during the fiscal year, the system also only simulates the depreciation proportionally until the asset retirement date.
