Posting Actual Depreciation using Activity Type

Description

In Release 4.5A, you can use the periodic depreciation posting program to make account assignment to the activity type that is entered in the asset master record, in addition to the existing CO account assignments, such as cost center or order.

Effects on Customizing

In order to use this function, you have to make sure that actual posting with activity type is active in CO. Another requirement is that the depreciation posting run is set up for account assignment to cost centers. The system then automatically posts to the activity type entered in the asset master record.
