Availability Check

Scope of Functions

With interchangeable manufacturer parts, the availability check also takes account of the stock of each part that is fully interchangeable with the one originally ordered.

Up to Release 3.0B this check looked at all parts that were in the same FFF class as the originally ordered part.

From Release 4.6 the check only applies to the parts in the same MPN-MRP set, if MPN-MRP sets have been maintained. (If no MPN-MRP sets have been maintained, the system takes account of the FFF class, as before.)
