Mobile UI (Enhanced)

Use

As of release 4.0 Service Pack 03, a new SAP AII Java-based WebDynpro Mobile user interface (UI) is offered in addition to the SAP AII 4.0 SAPGUI Mobile UI running on WebSAPConsole.

The new WebDynpro Mobile UI provides the functionality to read RFID tags. Barcode and function key support are also integrated with the application. In addition, the new Java-based WebDynpro Mobile UI aims to improve the usability and screen navigation of the mobile application.

The WebDynpro Mobile UI only supports the "pack" business process (both integrated and non-integrated) currently available in the SAP AII 4.0 Mobile UI. It does not introduce any new business processes. The pack process supports a simple two-level hierarchy (pallet is determined by the SSCC encoding type and cases are determined by their SGTIN). It supports tag reading (single and multiple tags); however, it does not support tag writing.

Constraints

SAP AII Java-based WebDynpro Mobile UI and SAPGUI Mobile UI running on WebSAPConsole can only be implemented on project basis.
