Auto-ID Test Tool (New)

Use

As of SAP AII 4.0the Auto-ID Test Tool (ATT) is available. ATT is a tool that allows you to test the notification channel of your SAP AII system. It supports the following message protocols:

• PML (Physical Markup Language)

• SAP Web Services

• ALE (Application Level Events)

You can use it to do the following:

• Simulate a device controller or a device sending reads to SAP AII locally or to any RFC destination (for plain HTTP communication in PML or ALE) or any Logical Port (for Web Service communication).

• Simulate tag generation

• Do stress (volume) testing

• Persist the simulated messages to the database for later usage.

• Convert tag values from Hex format to URI format (and vice-versa) in a message.

• Upload existing PML or ALE-based XML files directly in the tool.

The Auto-ID Test Tool is available on the SAP Easy Access screen under Auto-ID Infrastructure → Tools → Auto-ID Test Tool
