Document management system for assets
Description
In Release 3.0, the documentation management system in the R/3 system was linked to the asset master data transaction (under Extras). Using this system, you can store any type of documents (such as bills of material, blueprints, original documents, video sequences) for an asset master record.

In order to display documents, which are stored on a server, on a given host, you have to define the host as the node (Customizing: Central functions -> General data -> Data carrier/node).
