Enhancement of BAdI Checks in Dialog (changed)

Use

As of Release SAP_ABA 7.10, the Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) that were previously only available for SAP Business Partner through BAPIs are also available in the dialog.

This enhancement standardizes (user-defined) checks for maintenance using BAPIs and in dialog.

The following BAdIs are now available in the dialog:

  • BUPA_FURTHER_CHECKS for the central data of the business partner
  • BUPA_ADDR_CHECK for address-dependent and -independent data
  • BUPA_BANK_CHECK for bank details (BUT0BK)
  • BUPA_PCARD_CHECK for payment cards (BUT0CC)
  • BUPA_INDSEC_CHECK for industries
  • BUPA_ROLE_CHECK for business partner roles
  • BUPA_IDENT_CHECK for ID numbers

The active BAdI implementations are called in the events PAI and DCHCK in the dialog.

The BAdI calls of BUPA_BANK_CHECK, BUPA_PCARD_CHECK, BUPA_INDSEC_CHECK and BUPA_IDENT_CHECK are available in PAI in the corresponding data set in the dialog. The BAdI implementations (if available) are called with the the other PAI checks of the corresponding data sets.

The BAdI BUPA_FURTHER_CHECKS is available in the DCHCK event BUP_BUPA_EVENT_DCHCK. The BadI is called in the same way as DCHCK events when the functions SAVE and CHECK are used (by choosing the pushbutton in the application toolbar).

The BAdI BUPA_ADDR_CHECK is called for the address-independent data in PAI BUA_BUPA_PAI_BUA700. The BAdI is called for address-dependent data in PAI BUA_BUPA_EVENT_DCHCK. The BAdI implementation for the address-dependent data is called for the functions SAVE and CHECK.

The BADI BUPA_ROLE_CHECK is called in the following cases:

  • When the role is changed in transaction BP
  • When the pushbutton is chosenRole details

Notes

The change indicators of the component DATAX cannot be used in the BAdIs because they are not relevant for the dialog.
