APO-ATP-BF: ATP Tree Structures Display

Use

The ATP tree structures display allows you an overview of data that is written to the APO database during an availability check. The availability check is triggered by a CRM system or by backorder processing in APO.

  • CRM Scenario
A sales order is created in a CRM system and the availability check is carried out in APO. When saving the sales order, data is written to the APO database. An R/3 system reaches back to this during creation of the order, after the order has been transferred from the CRM system to the R/3 system. If the sales order is saved and updated in the R/3 system the associated data is deleted from the database.
  • Backorder Processing in APO
In batch backorder processing (execution mode with postprocessing) in combination with interactive backorder processing, data is written to the APO database during an availability check. Interactive backorder processing reads this data from the database. The data is deleted from the APO database after the final update or after backorder processing is deleted.

This tool is aimed above all at technically experienced consultants and developers and helps the control

  • When updating is cancelled
  • When the data in the APO database is not deleted
  • When the system displays performance problems due to the volume of data being too large

You can thereby check the data that was written to the APO database during an availability check within a CRM scenario or backorder processing (APO). This data is only visible in the display until the update by the R/3 system or interactive backorder processing is complete.
