APO-ATP-RBA: Enhancements for Exclusive Rule

Use

As of Release 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1) you can no longer assign a calculation profile to an exclusive rule. Since the calculation profile always refers to location products determined by the rule, it is not meaningful to define parameters that should be used for zero results (=quantity to be excluded).

As of Release 3.0A (FCS+SP1) the calculation profiles are no longer taken into account when evaluating the exclusive rule.

Note that the Global ATP menu has changed as of Release 3.0A (FCS+SP1). You will find Integrated Rule Maintenance in SAP Easy Access under Master Data Rule Maintenance Integrated Rule Maintenance.

Note that substitution procedures that contain several substitution groups cannot be assigned to an exclusive rule. Otherwise this can lead to indefinite results at runtime during rule evaluation, that is, the results of two checks can turn out differently in spite of the same start situation. If you try to assign substitution procedures that contain several substitution groups to an exclusive rule, you will receive an error message.
