APO-INT: qRFC Alert

Use

As of APO 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1), you can monitor the queues relevant for the integration of the APO and R/3 systems in the APO and the R/3 exit using the report qRFC Alert. If queue blockades are determined, the system informs the administrator or a selected user by means of SAP user mail or (in the case of external recipients), Internet mail.

This functionality has also been supplied to APO 2.0A by Support Package 7.

Effects on Existing Data

The qRFC Alert does not affect existing data as this report only determines and publishes information, but does not modify any data.

Effects on System Administration

You must maintain the corresponding entries in SAP Connect in order to facilitate the proper use of the qRFC Alert. Note that internal recipients are informed via SAP user mail, while you must specify an Email address in the case of external recipients.
