Use
Maintenance of Setup Matrices, Setup Groups, and Setup Keys
As of release 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1), you maintain setup matrices, setup groups, and setup keys in the Master Data area menu for Production Planning instead of Customizing for Master Data. These location-dependent objects therefore no longer have a transportation connection.
The following reports with this you can transfer these objects to a target system are available for Release 3.0A (FCS + SP1):
- The report /SAPAPO/SETUP_GROUP_COPY is used for transferring setup groups and setup keys.
- The report /SAPAPO/SETUP_MATRIX_COPY is used for transferring setup matrices.
The existence of the locations in the target system is a prerequisite for a successful transfer. This is also true for the plan numbers that you can specify in the setup matrices for campaigns. These plan numbers must also exist in the target system. You define the target system by specifying the RFC destination of the system.
Note: You cannot transfer setup keys, setup groups, and setup matrices using the CIF interface from an R/3 System.
List Output for Setup Matrices
A list output function using the ABAP List Viewer (ALV) is available in the Master Data area menu for Production Planning as of Release 3.0A (FCS + SP1). You can use this function to display setup matrices in list form and to
- Export, for example as Excel files, or
- Send these lists as mail
