APO-PPS-BF: Confirmations from OLTP System

Use

As of Release 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1), you are able to define how the confirmation from the OLTP System affects the production orders (and process orders) in the APO System. You can now define whether:

• Deviances to quantities (due to under- or overdelivery) of confirmed operations are propagated to succeeding operations.

• Components are adjusted with (components are adjusted for both the confirmed operation and its succeeding operations) or without confirmation (components are only adjusted for successor operations).

• Remaining net duration is adjusted by confirmation, either linearly according to the order data or adjusted according to the data maintained in the master data (either in the production process model or in the iPPE)

Effects to Customizing

These parameters can be defined globally in Customizing for Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling, in the IMG activity, Maintain Global Parameters and Defaultsor at product-location level in the Goods Receipt/Goods Issue tab of the Product Master.
