APO-PPS-EVA: Scheduling Log

Use

As of Release 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1), the following changes have been made to the scheduling log:

  • The scheduling log has been newly structured: The orders for the components of an order product are no longer listed as primary nodes on the same level as the order for the order product, but as subordinate nodes, one level lower.
  • You can limit the number of primary nodes that are displayed according to the user. To do this, you enter the desired number of primary nodes in user maintenance for the SET/GET parameter /SAPAPO/CDPS_LOGSIZE. If you do not specify a value, the system displays a maximum of 100 primary nodes.
  • You can specify for the user that:
  • Only primary nodes for which there are error messages are listed in the scheduling log

Information messages are automatically hidden.
To do this, enter the value I in user maintenance for the SET/GET parameter /SAPAPO/CDPS_LOGFILT.
  • Parameter values (for example, order numbers) are not displayed in long texts

To do this, enter the value P in user maintenance for the SET/GET Parameter /SAPAPO/CDPS_LOGFILT.
If you enter the value PI for the SET/GET parameter /SAPAPO/CDPS_LOGFILT, information messages and parameter values are filtered out.
  • The scheduling log is now integrated in the planning run. For each planning run, the system creates a scheduling log. In the area menu for Reporting, you can do the following to the scheduling logs:
  • Display

  • Delete

Note: Mass scheduling runs and product planning runs are now integrated into the production planning run. For further information, see release information for Heuristics in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling.
