APO-SNP-BF: Transferring Supply Network Planning Orders to OLTP Systems

Use

In previous releases, you used the user-dependent Core Interface (CIF) transaction /SAPAPO/C4 to configure the transfer of Supply Network Planning orders to OLTP systems. As of Release 3.0A (First Customer Shipment and Support Package 1), this transaction has been replaced in Supply Network Planning by the Customizing activity Configure Transfer to OLTP Systems.

You can now decide when, and for which runs (SNP, Deployment or Transport Load Builder), orders are transferred to OLTP systems. In addition, you can choose whether purchase requisitions or purchase orders are created in the OLTP system for the Deployment run. And for both the Deployment and the TLB runs, you can decide under which circumstance a transfer occurs, for example, for non-VMI or VMI customers.

Note that an immediate transfer means orders are created in the OLTP system at the time the run is carried out. A periodic transfer means orders are first saved to the buffer. You can then define the transfer in the Select and Copy Orders screen, which you reach from the SAP Easy Access menu by choosing Tools -> APO Administration -> Integration -> Publication -> Edit Change Displayer. You can also call this report by defining a job.

Effects on Customizing

In Customizing for Supply Network Planning, choose Supply Chain Planning -> Supply Network Planning -> Basic Settings -> Configure Transfer to OLTP Systems to define how your Supply Network Planning orders are transferred to OLTP systems.
