Authorization object for the external procurement relationship (new)
Use
As of SAP APO 4.0 you can use the authorization object C_APO_EXPR to determine which activities a user is allowed to carry out within the external procurement relationship.
You use the authorization object to determine which external procurement relationship data a user is allowed to process:
- External procurement relationship master data
- Scheduling agreement release (operative delivery schedule, forecast/ planning delivery schedule, last deliveries, release history)
- Message output
- External procurement relationship costs
- Purchase order history of the external procurement relationship
If the external procurement relationship is an APO scheduling agreement then you can assign authorizations for all the types of data listed.
If the external procurement relationship is an OLTP scheduling agreement, info record or contract then you an only assign authorizations for the external procurement relationship and the external procurement relationship costs.
You use the authorization object to determine whether the user is allowed to add, generate, change, display or delete this data.
You assign these authorizations in user master data maintenance. You can also limit the sales scheduling agreement items that a user can process according to product, production planner, SNP planner, source location and destination location.
