PP/DS: New scheduling and processing functions in the DS planning board
Scope of Functions
Fixing time intervals
In the detailed scheduling planning board (DS planning board) you can fix time intervals for selected resources. By doing this, you fix all operations that lie in this time interval or that extend into this time interval. You cannot reschedule fixed operations. The fixed intervals are marked in red. Using the standard planning board profiles SAP001 and SAP003, bars are displayed for the fixed operations with a red stripe down the middle.
Context menu for the diagram section
A context menu with scheduling functions, as is available for the table section, is now available for the diagram section of the planning board. You call it up by clicking an object in the diagram section using the right mouse button.
Selecting operations and orders
By choosing Edit -> Select, you can select all operations and orders in the planning board that:
- Belong to the same block as a selected operation or order
- Belong to the same production campaign as a selected operation or order.
Setting the visible time period
You can not only set the start or end of the time period that is visible in the diagram section using the planning board menu, but you can also, using the following mouse clicks:
- Pull a frame in the diagram section of a chart by holding down the CONTROL key and left mouse button. When you release the mouse button, the start of the diagram section is set to the date defined in the left margin.
- Click on a table row using the right mouse button and by making the appropriate menu selection in the context menu you can:
- Set the start of the diagram section to the start of the graphical object in the row
- Set the end of the diagram section to the end of the last graphical object in the row
