Scope of Functions

Selection of order types

As standard, both the orders from Production planning and detailed scheduling are displayed in the detailed scheduling planning board, as well as orders from the Supply Network Planning. From Release 2.0 you can make user-specific settings so that only orders of a certain type are displayed. To do so, enter the SET/GET parameter /SAPAPO/CDPS_APPLI in the SAP menu under System -> User profile -> Own data and assign it the value for the order type to be displayed:

• Only display orders for production planning and finite scheduling:

CDPS

• Only display orders for Supply Network Planning:

SNP

Selection of resources, products and orders

For the detailed scheduling planning board, which you can access directly in the area menu of Production planning, you can control which resources, products and orders will be displayed in the table areas of the various sub-screens, using the work area. Here, you have two options.

• As was the case before, you can define that the system selects the resources from the products in the product view and from the orders in the order view of the work area. The system then determines objects to be displayed using these resources, and the resources which you have entered in the resource view of the work area. All these resources are displayed in a resource chart, all the orders with operations using these resources are displayed in an order chart and in a product chart, all products are displayed which have orders with operations using these resources.

• You can now define for each view of the work area, that only the objects specified in the view are displayed in the corresponding chart, for example in a resource chart only the resources, which you have specified in the resource view.
