Production Backflushing: Backflushing of Variances
Use
As of this release, you can backflush variances too. Up to now, you could not correct the planned quantities for the material withdrawal postings when backflushing. Now, you can enter variances for the planned quantities of the components and production activities to be posted and report them in Controlling.
Entry and posting of variances:
- The system determines the planned quantities from the APO planned order or from the Rapid Planning Matrix and the user can enter the corresponding actual quantities in the APO when using the dialog backflush.
- Planned and actual quantities are transferred to the DI System.
- If you enter variances seperately in the DI System, this enables you to post the variances directly to the product cost collector without reference to a production order.
- There is then detailed information about the posted variances in Controlling. This information is valuated and analyzed when the system determines the variances.
