Individual Simulation: Taking into Account More than One Currency (Changed)

Use

The inclusion of different currencies in the individual simulation has been revised.

Relative planning in display currency:

The transactions are planned, relative to existing business, in the display currency, meaning the existing actual transactions are converted into the display currency, and then, for example, 10% new business is planned in the display currency. It does not matter whether the display currency has already existed on the node as the transaction currency.

Relative planning in transaction currency:

New business is planned in transaction currency, meaning that each currency has a relative growth of 10%, for example. You cannot add new currencies here. You cannot maintain currencies in the maturity band-dependent parameters.

Planning absolute total volume (actual+simulated) in display currency:

New business is planned in display currency, meaning that the existing actual transactions are converted into the display currency, and then the system checks whether the actual position is less than the planned total volume. If this is the case, the difference is planned in display currency. It does not matter whether the display currency has already existed on the node as the transaction currency.

Planning absolute total volume (actual+simulated) in transaction currency:

New business is planned in the specified transaction currency. Example: USD 5 mil. is to be planned. The current actual position in the portfolio hierarchy node is EUR 2 000 000, USD 4 000 000. You plan for USD 1 mil. of new business. The euro transactions are left out of the planning completely. You can add currencies, meaning that you could also plan for FRF 3 000 000. You can only plan in one currency for each maturity band date. However, the currencies on different maturity band dates do not have to be identical.

Planning absolute new business (simulated) in display currency:

New business is planned as the amount entered in transaction currency.

Planning absolute new business (simulated) in transaction currency:

New business is planned in the transaction currency. For each maturity band date, you can plan absolute volumes of new business in any currency. However, only one currency is permitted for each maturity band date. It does not matter whether the currency already exists on the portfolio hierarchy node.
