Changes in the Area Menu for SEM Banking

Use

As from SAP ECC 5.00 Financial Services (EA-FS 500), the area menu for SEM Banking contains the following changes:

Profitability Analysis

Applications that have been renamed

  • The application Financial Object, which is located under Profitability Analysis -> Master Datais now called Edit Financial Object.
  • The application Period Values, which is located under Profitability Analysis -> Actual Postingsis now called Edit Period Values.
  • The application Cash Flow, which is located under Profitability Analysis -> Actual Postingsis now called Process Cash Flow.
  • The application Waiveunder Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Loans -> Contract is now called Rescind.
  • The application Loanunder Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Loans is now called Contract.
  • The application File Configurationunder Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Loans -> Rollover is now called File Structure.
  • The applications Securities Positions, Foreign Exchange Positionsand Listed Derivatives Positions under Data Pool -> Tools -> Creation of SEM Banking Positionsare now called Create Securities Positions, Create Foreign Exchange Positionsand Create Listed Derivatives Positions.
  • The applications for Securitiesunder Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Securities are now called Edit Securities Order, Edit Security Prices, Classand Edit Securities Account.

Applications that have been reassigned

  • The applications for Bank Transactionsare now located under Data Pool. They used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Master Data.
  • The application Execute Condition List can now be found under Data Pool > Price Parameters -> Current Settings. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Tools.
  • You can now find the following functions under Data Pool -> Tools. They used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Tools.
  • External Data Transfer (EDT)

  • Export from the Data Pool

  • Creation of SEM Banking Positions

  • Euro Conversion

  • Delete Function

  • Archiving

  • Development BDT,,

  • You can now find the following functions under Data Pool -> Price Parameters. They used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Environment.
  • Datafeed

  • Market Data File (previously referred to as File Interface)

  • The application Edit Business Partnercan now be found under Data Pool. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Master Data.
  • The application Trader Authorizationcan now be found under Data Pool. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Master Data.
  • The application Process Indicator Table for Cash Flow Disturbance can now be found under Profitability Analysis -> Tools -> Cash Flow Generation. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Toolsand was called Indicator Table for Cash Flow Disturbance 1.
  • The application Edit Standard Conditions can be found under Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Variable Transaction. It used to be located under Profitability Analysis -> Master Data and was called Standard Conditions.

New applications

  • The application Process Indicator Table for Cash Flow Disturbance can now be found under Profitability Analysis -> Tools -> Cash Flow Generation.
  • The applications Executeand Expirationcan be found under Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Derivatives -> Listed Transaction.
  • You can find the following new applications under Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Derivatives -> Interest Rate Adjustment:
  • Change

  • Display

  • Reverse

  • Automatic Processing -> Create

  • Automatic Processing -> Reverse

  • The applications under Repo Transaction can be found under Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Derivatives.

Applications that have been deleted

  • The Variable Transaction (Obs) node under Profitability Analysis -> Master Data -> Bank Transactions has been removed.
  • The application Editunder Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Loans -> Interest Rate Adjustment has been removed.
  • The application Settleunder Data Pool -> Bank Transactions -> Loans -> Spot/Forward Transactionhas been removed.

Default Risk and Limit System

New applications

  • The applications Assign Accounts to Business Partner(transaction KLMAP) and Update Cash Management Data to Credit Risk(transaction RMCM) are new, and are found under Corporate Finance Management -> Credit Risk Analyzer -> Tools.

Market Risk Analysis

Applications that have been deleted

  • The archiving functionsfor the report data memory, results database, and for the datasets for backtesting are no longer found in the Market Risk menu. Instead, you can call them up from the general SAP archiving tool.
