Selection of the Exchange Rate Type (New)

Use

As from SAP ECC 5.00 Financial Services (EA-FS 500), you are able to specify the exchange rate type in Limit Management. This is the function for the exchange rate type that is used in Market Risk and exposure in the definition of the evaluation types. This means that in the Customizing for Limit Management, you can define which exchange rate type the system is to use to translate currencies. When you specify the exchange rate type, this exchange rate type is then used instead of the hard-coded exchange rate type 'M' to translate currencies. If you do not specify an exchange rate type, then the system uses exchange rate type 'M'.

This development has been included in the previous Releases ERP 2.0, ERP 1.0 and BANK/CFM 4.63.
