Customer-Own Name Range for Posting Categories
Description
Postings automatically created by the system (for example, balancing postings) are organized in the system with posting categories. SAP supplies all necessary posting categories. You should not change these.
However, if you wish to create your own posting categories, this is possible as of release 4.02 A in your own name range. The name ranges Y* and Z* are available for customer-own posting categories.
Further notes
The name range 9* is exclusively for posting categories that were developed by SAP. If you have already created posting categories with 9*, you must re-define them in your own name range.
