Archiving Mass Data

Description

The basic structure of archiving is the archiving object. As of release 4.03, the archiving reports used for the archiving objects support mass processing.

Changes in procedure

  1. Choose Environment -> Archiving, and then the corresponding archiving object.
  2. On the initial screen, choose 'Enter', to have the full functionality available.
  3. Choose the required action (for example, archive, delete and so on).
  4. Choose a variant.
  5. Enter the start date to schedule the job in the background.
  6. Enter the spool parameter to control the output.
  7. Choose execute to start the job.

Further notes

For detailed information, see the detail log. However, only use the detailed information for a manageable number of objects.
