Totally Separate FI General Ledger
Scope of Functions
As of release 4.61, running the FI general ledger on a different system is supported by a special report. This report creates a copy of the general ledger settings needed for BCA. This means it is no longer necessary to access the FI general ledger (except for GL transfer) if the FI general ledger is run on a different system. The report also checks Customizing settings for general ledger transfer.
Transfer to the FI general ledger per batch input no longer applies.

Start the report before the BCA system start-up date.

Transfer to the FI general ledger per ALE (IDOC) has been moved to a different interface: BAPI_ACC_BILLING_POST.
- Use the following ALE settings for this interface:
- Message category,,ACC_BILLING
- Object type,,,,BUS6007
- IDOC basic type,,ACC_BILLING
