New Maintenance Transaction for Securities Orders for 4.61

Scope of Functions

As of release 4.61 there is a new securities maintenance transaction (JBWPORD) for SAP Banking. The order maintenance from Treasury (FWO4 for order execution and FWO7 for order settlement) is no longer used in SAP Banking. The new securities order maintenance does not differentiate between order execution and order settlement and data is no longer supplied to Treasury position management/financial accounting. Therefore, the maintenance of position indicators is also no longer necessary and does not appear in the Banking application menu. The new maintenance transaction requires the entry of the same data as in the external data transfer. The field check is identical in the external data transfer of orders (transfer type 8) and in the online entry, and therefore so are any error messages that may appear.

Effects on Existing Data

Orders that were already entered in the system in earlier releases by means of external data transfer can now be maintained using the new transaction. The previous external data transfer of securities orders (transfer type 8) is not affected by the new transaction.
