New Functions in Drilldown Reporting for 4.61

Scope of Functions

Release 4.61 sees the following functions added to drilldown reporting within Risk Analysis:

• Use of Selection Options

You can now create input fields in reports as selection options. This allows the flexible entry of single values or intervals, and lets you determine the number of values when executing the report rather than beforehand. Complex selections such as the exclusion of single values and intervals are supported, and you can also use replacement symbols (wild cards).

For this, you have to create a global variable of the type "selection option" for the corresponding characteristic. You can then use this variable when defining your reports.

Characteristics that are used as a selection option in a report, are no longer available for navigation.

• New Output Types

Alongside the classical drilldown report, the following output types are available: graphical report output with use of controls, ABAP List Viewer output with the possibility of using several characteristics as lead columns, direct export to a spreadsheet program.

The last two possibilities can not be used if a report contains hierarchies. This is particularly the case with non-additive key figures .
