Customer-Defined Check Digit Procedure with Parameter Table
Use
As of Release 4.62 you have an enhanced option of defining and using your own check digit procedures and check digit methods.
You can use a parameter table that you maintain in Customizing.
The only prerequisite is that this parameter table has precisely one key field to which data element BKK_PARANO is assigned. This is to ensure that the parameters can be clearly and unmistakably assigned.
Effects on Existing Data
View V_TBCACHKDGPROC has been changed: In the procedure field, data element BKK_CHKTYP (2 characters long) has been replaced by data element BCA_DTE_CHECKPROCNO (4 characters long); in addition, two other fields have been added: Parameter table and view name.
Effects on Data Transfer
If you have already created your own procedures, you will have to perform a data transfer.
If you have defined and used your own methods, you will have to create these again.
