Steps Required for Changing the Release to 4.62 (Master Data)

Use

Data conversion for collateral provision master data using conversion report RKLSITO462

The following additional fields were inserted in table 'KLSI01' as part of the enhancements to master date:

- SID_NAME,,(Identifier for collateral provision - long description)
- SID_KTXT,,(Identifier for collateral provision - short desription)
- SIGEBER,,(Guarantor)
- SIART,,(Type of collateral provision)
- OBJNR,,(Object number for collateral provision)
- DELFZ,,(Validity end of collateral provision)
- SIPRIO,,(Identifier for collateral priority)

The report makes all the necessary changes. Only priority, type and validity end for single transaction-related collateral provision require manual maintenance.

Caution: The conversion report acts across all clients and may only be started once.

Effects on Existing Data

You need to create an active financial object for all existing single transaction-related collateral. There is a service report in the application menu for this purpose.

As of this Release, text table 'KLSI01T' is no longer used. The conversion transfers the texts maintained to table 'KLSI01', which is language-independent. If only one language is maintained, then this is the language used. If more than one language is maintained, then the language specified when logging on to the system is used.

Collateral priority and collateral type are new for this Release. You need to maintain these in order to be able to create single-transaction related collateral provisions.
