Important Steps for the Release Change to Banking 4.62

Use

After the change of Release to 4.62, the following steps are required for the SEM transaction datapool and Profitability Analysis:

• In order to be able to use the transactions in the SEM datapool you need to deactivate certain functions in the SAP component Corporate Finance Management (CFM) that are not supported for use in connection with SEM Banking. For more information read the following IMG documentation which you find by choosing SAP Banking → Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM) → Basic Settings SEM → Deactivate Functions in the Datapool

• Derivatives area: As a result of technical changes in the area of the SAP component Corporate Finance Management you need to read Note 0336423 for information on using the SEM datapool in Banking Release 4.62. The conversion reports required for the upgrade are expected to be available in January 2001 and will be delivered in a Support Package. For more information see also the following Release Note: Data conversion for OTC Derivatives

• Automatic financial object integration has been extended to the area of loan transactions for Release 4.62. In order to be able to use Preliminary costing within Profitability Analysis you need to activate automatic financial object integration for loans. See also Activate/Deactivate Automatic Financial Object Integration.

• After upgrading to Banking 4.62 and before carrying transaction costing for the first time, you need ot carry out the Correction of Cross-Client Table JBKKOF.
