Market Data as Part of the Foundation (Modified)

Use

As of SAP Banking Services 6.0 (FSAPPL 200), market data is located in the technical section of Banking Services under Foundation. The data was moved because Bank Analyzer has been incorporated into Banking Services. Since the market data is available for Bank Analyzer (analytic part of Banking Services) and Account Management (operational part of Banking Services), the data was integrated into the Foundation. You can select the market data functions from the SAP Easy Access by choosing Financial Services -> Foundation -> Market Data.

You can define the market data settings in the Implementation Guide by choosing Financial Services -> Foundation -> Market Data. The use of market data in Analytical Banking and Operational Banking differs with regard to the locking behavior for interest rates. For this reason, Customizing contains a new activity in which you can define whether you use Analytical Banking (Bank Analyzer) or Operational Banking (Account Management) in your system, or both. You define the settings under Select Activated Components.
