Deposit Banking (New)

Use

From SAP R/3 Enterprise Financial Services 2.00 (EA-FINSERV 200) Bank Customer Accounts contains the deposit banking area. This enables you to define and process the deposit products time deposits(fixed deposits, overnight money, and deposits at notice), savings bonds(with normal interest), and savings deposits (with a notice period of three months. The Deposit Banking functions are available to all BCA customers who want to reportray their deposit banking. If you want to include a legacy data transfer for your deposit banking in the SAP system, you need to contact SAP.

The following are special functions:

  • Rollover and notice (partial and full amount) and their management
  • Monitoring of the term start, overpayment, or underpayment on each account
  • Control over the processing of incoming and outgoing payment items (post, in postprocessing, fixing phase, maturity phase)
  • Interest calculation with account-based interest rates (term, amount and currency based), the preliminary interest calculation and posting interest calculation results

The implementation of the deposit products is divided up into the following:

  • Definition of the deposit products using an extended product configurator
  • Definition of the conditions to which the term component, interest penalty, and bonus have been added
  • Extension of customizing in the account management and authorization management areas.
