Product Configuration (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension Financial Services , Enhancement Package 4 (EA-FS 604), Business Function Deposits - Business Operations (EAFS_BCA_BUSOPR), the product configurator has been enhanced as follows:

  • Matrix Attributes
You can now set up matrix attributes in the IMG activity Set Up Attributes.
  • Copy and Transport Attribute Hierarchy
The system now allows you to copy the attribute hierarchy to other clients or transport the attribute hierarchy to other systems by choosing Attribute Hierarchy -> Copy Hierarchy or Transport Hierarchy.
  • List Attribute
The system no longer supports the List Attribute Category.
  • Attribute Reassignment
You can now reassign attributes to the Attributes Not Used node only if the attribute is not used by any product in the current client.
You cannot reassign the Attributes Not Used node to any other node in the product attribute hierarchy.
  • Enhanced Product Check
The system checks that the default limit currency and amount notice currency is the same as the default account currency.

Set the following in a sample product (transaction FIPRD2) and try to save the changes.
  • Set the default value as ‘X’ for more than one radio button in a radio button group

  • Set different currency units for Account, Notices, and Limits.

  • Enter a To Date that is before the From Date for Limitsand Holds.

You now need to define product attribute settings in the Customizing for Bank Customer Accounts (BCA), by choosing Master Data -> Product Definition -> Product Attributes -> Set Up Attributes.
