Interest on Arrears for Consumer Loans (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 5.00, Financial Services (EA-FS 500) you can use the Interest on Arrears for Consumer Loans function by choosing Accounting → Receivables/Payment Management → Interest on Arrears → Interest on Arrears - Consumer Loans. This function calculates and posts interest on arrears for those items not yet paid, or paid too late, for each loan belonging to the category Consumer Loans (340), and each currency, and creates the relevant correspondence to the borrower.

Note:

For loans based on other product categories, you should continue to use the Post Interest in Arrears function.

You will find more information about the new function for loans belonging to the Consumer Loan (340) product category by choosing Product Category Consumer Loans (340) (New).

If you are using interest on arrears in Loans Management, you do not need to make any additional Customizing settings. If you want to change existing Customizing settings, you will find more information on the required Customizing settings in the SAP Library.
