Credit Life Insurance for Consumer Loans (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 5.00, Financial Services (EA-FS 500), you can process one or more credit life insurance policies for providing security on a loan belonging to the product category Consumer Loans (340) within the Change Consumer Loan function. You can use the following functions:

• Process, rescind and give notice on credit life insurance

• Enter insurance case

You will find more information about the new function for loans belonging to the Consumer Loan (340) product category by choosing Product Category Consumer Loans (340) (New).

For the Process Credit Life Insurance function, you need to have executed the following IMG activities in Customizing for Loans Management:

• Define Tariffs for Credit Life Insurance

• Define Occupational Groups for Credit Life Insurance

Note:

You can influence the calculation of credit life insurance in the Customizing settings for Loans Management using the BAdIs Calculation of CLI Single Premium and Calculation of CLI Reimbursement Amount.

For the Cancel/Give Notice on Credit Life Insurance functions, you need to have executed the following IMG activities in the Customizing for Loans Management:

• Under Define Tariffs for Credit Life Insurance you have determined the cancellation and notice periods.

• If you want to use the release function in connection with the cancellation, you must set up the release for the release object VDARL (Loan Master Data) in the Customizing settings for Loans Management.
