Rescission of a Consumer Loan (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 5.00, Financial Services (EA-FS 500) you can use the function Cancel Loan within the function Change Consumer Loan. You use this function to rescind a loan belonging to the category Consumer Loans (340). Rescinding a loan contract renders it ineffective. The borrower does not incur any costs.

You will find more information about the new function for loans belonging to the category Consumer Loans (340) under the Product Category Consumer Loans (340) (New).

If you want to use the release function in connection with the rescission, you must set up the release for the release object VDARL (Loan Master Data), and for the corresponding product type, in the Customizing settings for Loans Management.
