Link to the Collateral Management System (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP ECC 5.00, Financial Services (EA-FS 500) Loans Managementsupports the collateral and object data from the Collateral Management System (CMS) in the areas listed below. If the link to CMS has been activated, the following applies:

• Correspondence

The structures to be entered in the text elements do not contain the data for the objects and collateral in Loans Managementbut the data from the Collateral Management System (CMS).

• Disbursement

If the plausibility check for objects is activated, the system checks in the business operation Disbursement whether an object and/or an encumbrance exists in the Collateral Management System. You define the plausibility checks in the Customizing for Loans Managementin the IMG activity Functions → Business Operations → Define Plausibility Checks.
