Reversal (Enhanced)

Use

As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Financial Services 6.0 (EA-FS 600) you can use the following enhancements to the reversal function:

• Reasons for reversal

When you process returned auto debits using the electronic account statement you can use the new business add-in BAdI Assignment of External Reversal Reasons to assign external reasons for a reversal to internal reasons within Loans Management.

• Interest-like flows

You can use the enhancement of the reversal function Reverse Individual Activity to reverse flows for a loan that are similar to interest, such as costs and charges, on an individual basis.

• Reasons for reversal

You make the Customizing settings in the IMG activity BAdI: Assignment of External Reversal Reasons.

• Interest-like flows

In the IMG activity SIMG.SIMG_CFMENUFNMCFZCS Define Flow Types you need to have assigned the relevant flow types to the flow category TB Costs/Chargesand the activity category 0015 Debit Position or 0016 Credit Position at the time the interest-like flows are posted.

Note: You cannot reverse interest-like flows individually if the flows have dependencies as a result of settings made under Event Control.
