Skip Function for Installment Loans (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Financial Services 6.0 (EA FS 600) you can use the new business operation Skip in the Workplace for Business Operations when processing loans from the product category Installment Loans (360):

You can grant borrowers skips on planned items for an installment loan. With a skip, you can defer the payment of selected planned items for any number of periods.

To use this function you need to execute the following IMG activities in Customizing for Loans Management:

• Define Company Code-Specific Texts

• Define Stops

To be able to enter additional flows for a skip, you need to execute the following additional IMG activities.

• Define Default Values for Document Item Text

• Define Flow Types

• Assign Offsetting Flows

• Define Account Determination

• Define Condition Groups

• Set Default Values for Dunning Block and Payment Method

If you want to use the correspondence function within the Skip function, you need to complete the IMG activities under Correspondence with Correspondence Tool (SAP Smart Forms).
