Diagnosis

Application has become provisional as the analysis code for a DPQS characteristic &3 on the load is lesser than the analysis code maintained for the characteristic in the contract.

System Response

The hierarchy of analysis codes is maintained in the DPQS master data in the view /CASTP/V_GOVANA.

In case of a commodity contract, the order of finding the governing analysis code for a characteristicis the following:

1. Check for any overrides for this DPQS characteristic in the contract item DPQS tab. If found, this is the governing analysis code for the characteristic for the contract.
2. If not found, check in the DPQS master data (value and volume schedules) if this characteristic has any analysis code. If found, this is the governing analysis code for the characteristic for the contract.
3. If not found, check the DPQS tab in contract item. The analysis code entered here becomes the governing code for the contract.

You can view the load's analysis code in the Manual Work Center by clicking the display Q-rep Grade button.

Procedure

If you want the application to be final, select a higher analysis code for the characteristic against the load.
