/AFS/IDOC007 - Item &: Customer material number & does not exist - /AFS/IDOC 007

Diagnosis

The transmitted customer material number (external item number ) does not exist in the system.

System Response

The system tries to determine the internal material number from the transmitted customer material number. This failed because there is no customer info record or a condition record for the material determination.

Procedure

Maintain the customer material number via
Customer material info
or
Condition record.

Please note that a customer material number cannot be maintained at dimension level via the material info record. For this you need to create a corresponding condition record in material determination.
