Diagnosis

In level 0 of application mode allocation groups, you chose to execute multiple allocation groups. This is not possible in transaction J4AB.

System Response

You can only process one allocation group at a time. Every allocation group is individually locked and you cannot process another allocation group at the same time.

Procedure

As a workaround, if you need to process multiple allocation groups quickly, you can execute report /AFS/ARUN_MANAGEMENTTOOL_BATCH .

You can schedule this report in background or process it online. However, very few processes are available through the background report compared to the online report.

In the online transaction, work with one allocation group at a time. Save the worksheet for that allocation group before moving to the next. If you go on to the next allocation group without saving changes to the previous allocation group, the changes will not be entered in the database.
