Use either an existing document or another document type or no document.

Procedure for System Administration

To allow new external documents being created by using them with this device group, an action type for device group role '' and for document type '' has to be marked as default.

This can be done in IMG node Auto-ID Infrastructure -> Conditions and Rules -> Activities -> Assign Action Type to Device Group Role.
