Procedure for System Administration

To allow new external documents being created by using them with this transaction, an action type for business process '' and for document type '' has to be marked as default.

This can be done in IMG node Auto-ID Infrastructure -> Conditions and Rules -> Activities -> Assign Action Type to Business Process.
